Sexual healthcare
The Campus Health Center (CHC) takes pride in providing a safe, no-judgment environment where students can come for confidential testing, treatment and counseling related to your sexual and reproductive health. Don't want to bill insurance? Ask about our self-pay option.
Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI)
Many Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) do not cause symptoms, so you could have one and not know. All STIs, even HIV, are treatable, and most are curable. STD testing is easy, quick, and usually painless. Tests may consist of a urine sample, throat or vaginal swab, blood test, and/or physical exam. Results can take from a day, to a week, depending the type of test. Your provider will let you know when you should expect results. Campus Health Center will call you with your results.
At CHC you can get testing and treatment for:
- Gonorrhea and Chlamydia
- HIV
- Trichomoniasis (aka trich)
- Syphilis
- Herpes
If you are between 18-24, and asymptomatic, you may be eligible for free STI testing through the federally funded Get Yourself Tested (GYT) program.
