Mindfulness Meditation and Self-Compassion Workshop

M-Power is a free 8-week mindfulness meditation and self-compassion course for members of the LGBTQ community, ages 18-29. It is modeled after the evidence-based program of Drs. Kristin Neff and Chris Germer. Increases in both mindfulness and self-compassion have been associated with decreased stress, anxiety, and depression, and improved measures of well-being. Come to M-Power orientation on February 11th from 5pm-6:30pm to learn more about this empowering approach to wellness! The program will be on Tuesdays from 5pm-7pm starting February 18th. You must attend the orientation session to participate.
